The realme P4 Power 5G has one number that immediately grabs your attention: 10,001mAh.
That’s not a typo.
While most phones are still hovering around 5,000–7,000mAh, realme has put a 10,001mAh silicon-carbon battery inside the P4 Power. And somehow, the phone is still just 9.08mm thick and 219g.
But here’s the question that actually matters.
Is the realme P4 Power a great smartphone, or is it just a giant battery with a screen attached?
realme P4 Power 5G: Quick Verdict
The P4 Power is built around one idea: you should stop worrying about your battery.
The 10,001mAh battery is easily the headline feature. But realme didn’t stop there. You also get a 1.5K 144Hz curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7400 Ultra performance, a 50MP OIS main camera, 80W wired charging and realme UI 7.0.
And the battery isn’t just impressive on paper.
In independent testing, the P4 Power delivered exceptionally long endurance. Gadgets 360 recorded 28 hours and 41 minutes in its PCMark Work Battery Life test, while 91Mobiles measured 21 hours and 8 minutes in the same general benchmark methodology.
Those numbers aren’t directly comparable because testing conditions can differ.Still, the message is obvious.This phone has serious battery endurance.
The catch? The cameras aren’t class-leading, the phone is fairly chunky, and you aren’t getting flagship-level performance despite that “Power” name.

Design: Big Battery, Surprisingly Normal Phone
When you hear 10,001mAh, you probably imagine something that looks like a power bank with a SIM card slot.The P4 Power isn’t that.It’s 9.08mm thick and weighs around 219g according to realme’s official specifications.
That’s heavier than many conventional phones, but it’s not absurd considering what’s inside.The curved display also helps the phone look slimmer from the front.
And I like that realme didn’t make the battery capacity the only thing people notice.
But 219g is still 219g
You will feel the weight.
If you spend hours scrolling in bed or holding the phone with one hand, a lighter 6,000–7,000mAh phone may actually feel more comfortable.That’s the trade-off.
You’re carrying extra battery so you don’t have to carry a charger or power bank.
For some people, that’s an excellent deal.
For others, it isn’t.
The 10,001mAh Battery Is the Whole Story
The P4 Power uses a 10,001mAh silicon-carbon battery, rated at 9,750mAh. Realme says the battery uses third-generation silicon-carbon anode technology and an advanced internal stacking process.That’s enormous for a smartphone.
Realme claims up to 11.7 hours of BGMI, around 32.5 hours of YouTube, and roughly 185.7 hours of Spotify playback under its own testing conditions. These are manufacturer figures, so your results will naturally vary.
Independent testing paints an even more useful picture.
Gadgets 360 found that the P4 Power could comfortably exceed two days for casual users, while its PCMark battery test reached 28 hours and 41 minutes.
91Mobiles also reported 21 hours and 8 minutes in its PCMark battery test, calling it the longest-running smartphone it had tested at the time.
That’s the kind of endurance that changes how you use a phone.
You stop looking for a charger.
You stop carrying a power bank.
You can leave home for a full day without thinking about the battery percentage.
That’s the real advantage of the P4 Power.
80W Charging Helps, But Don’t Expect Miracles
A huge battery creates another problem.
How long does it take to charge?
Realme addresses that with 80W Ultra Charge. The phone also supports 55W PPS and several other charging standards.
And 80W sounds fast until you remember what it’s filling.
You’re charging 10,001mAh.
In Gadgets 360’s testing, the P4 Power reached around 31% after 30 minutes, around 71% after an hour, and took roughly 1 hour 55 minutes for a full charge.
That’s actually reasonable.
A 30-minute charge still gives you a substantial chunk of battery.
But this isn’t a phone where you go from nearly empty to full in 30 minutes.
The battery is simply too large for that.
Reverse charging is a nice bonus
The P4 Power can also provide up to 27W reverse wired charging according to testing.
That makes the phone useful as an emergency power source for earbuds, another phone or compatible accessories.
Basically, your smartphone can double as a very large power bank.
Display: One of the P4 Power’s Best Features
The battery may get all the attention, but the display is actually one of the more interesting parts of this phone.
Realme gives the P4 Power a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The company lists up to 6,500 nits peak brightness for the panel.
That makes the screen much more premium than you’d expect from a phone whose main selling point is battery life.
Scrolling is smooth.
Animations look fluid.
And AMOLED gives you the deep blacks and contrast you’d expect.
The high refresh rate is especially useful for everyday use.
You don’t need a game running at 144fps to appreciate 144Hz.
The curved screen isn’t for everyone
This is one area where I’d personally think twice.
Curved displays look great in photos, but they’re more annoying to protect.
Screen protectors can be harder to fit, and accidental touches around the edges can sometimes become an issue.
If you’re the kind of person who immediately puts a tempered-glass protector on every phone, a flat display is simply easier to live with.
Performance: Good, But Don’t Call It a Flagship
The P4 Power uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU.
This is a capable mid-range platform.
Apps open quickly.
Multitasking is comfortable.
Social media, streaming, photography and normal productivity are easy work for it.
Gaming is also perfectly reasonable.
But here’s where I want to keep expectations realistic.
The P4 Power isn’t a gaming flagship.
The “Power” in the name refers to battery capacity more than raw processing performance.
If you’re playing demanding games at high settings for long periods, a Snapdragon flagship phone will still have more performance headroom.
That’s not necessarily a problem.
The P4 Power isn’t trying to be that phone.
Hyper Vision+: More Than Just a Chip
Realme also pairs the Dimensity 7400 Ultra with its Hyper Vision+ AI Chip.The idea is to improve gaming and visual performance using dedicated processing rather than asking the main chipset to handle everything. Realme positions this as a dual-chip setup.
It’s an interesting approach.
But don’t buy the phone expecting every game to suddenly run at native 144fps.
Frame-generation and image-processing technologies can make supported games feel smoother, but they aren’t a substitute for a genuinely faster GPU.
Marketing numbers need context.
Camera: Good Enough, Not the Main Attraction
This is probably the biggest weakness of the P4 Power.
The rear setup includes:
50MP main camera with OIS
8MP ultrawide camera
LED flash
There’s also a 16MP front camera. Realme supports 4K video recording on the main camera.
The main camera has the hardware advantage that matters most here: optical image stabilisation.But the P4 Power isn’t a camera phone first.
Independent reviews have specifically pointed out that the cameras could be better, with image quality not matching some rivals that focus more heavily on photography.
So here’s my advice.
If you mostly photograph your family, food, pets, documents and social-media shots, the P4 Power should be fine.
Software: realme UI 7.0
The P4 Power runs realme UI 7.0.
But there’s a downside.
Bloatware is still something to watch.
India Today specifically listed bloatware among the P4 Power’s drawbacks.
That doesn’t make the phone unusable.
Durability: Better Than You’d Expect
The P4 Power isn’t just a big battery and a pretty display.
It also carries strong dust and water resistance ratings in the markets where those specifications apply.
That matters because a huge battery isn’t much use if you’re afraid to take the phone outside.
Realme also includes features aimed at durability and thermal management, making the phone more practical for heavy everyday use.
Still, don’t treat an IP rating as permission to intentionally dunk your phone in water.
Water resistance is protection, not insurance.

The P4 Power isn’t dramatically faster than the P4.
You’re paying for the massive battery and upgraded display experience more than raw performance.If you don’t care about having a 10,001mAh battery, the standard P4 may actually be the smarter purchase.

Buy it if you use your phone for work
If your phone is your main communication device, hotspot, navigation system and entertainment machine, the extra capacity is extremely useful.
You don’t have to hunt for an outlet halfway through the day.
Buy it if you don’t want to carry a power bank
Instead of carrying:
Phone + power bank + charging cable
you can potentially carry:
Phone + charging cable.
That’s a meaningful difference when you’re travelling.
Who Should Skip It?
Skip it if cameras are your priority
Independent reviews have made the same point.
A camera-focused phone may be a better choice.
If you prefer phones around the 180–195g range, you’ll notice the difference.
Skip it if you want flagship gaming
The Dimensity 7400 Ultra is capable.
But that’s different from being a flagship gaming chipset.
realme P4 Power 5G: Final Verdict
The realme P4 Power 5G is not trying to win every smartphone category.
And that’s actually why I like it.
It has a very specific mission.
Make battery anxiety disappear.
The 10,001mAh battery is ridiculous in the best possible way. Independent testing confirms that this isn’t just a spec-sheet gimmick; endurance is genuinely excellent.
The rest of the phone is surprisingly well balanced.
You get a sharp 1.5K AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, solid Dimensity 7400 Ultra performance, 80W charging and a 50MP OIS camera.
But there are compromises.
The phone is heavy.
The cameras could be better.
The chipset isn’t flagship-grade.
And charging a 10,001mAh battery still takes time, even at 80W.
So, should you buy it?
If battery life is your number-one priority, absolutely consider it.
If you want the best camera, lightest design or fastest gaming phone, I’d look at something else.
But if your biggest smartphone complaint is simply, “Why is my battery dead again?”
The realme P4 Power has a very simple answer:
It probably won’t be.
